Counsel at Rutan & Tucker on Wednesday removed to California Central District Court a lawsuit targeting the City of La Palma over a dispute regarding the issuance of permits for real estate development. The suit was filed by Gulino Law Office on behalf of Sarkis Tatarian, who claims he was denied permission to build a pharmacy due to the city's objections to his unrelated involvement in the cannabis industry. The case is 8:22-cv-01265, Tatarian v. City of La Palma.
