Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young has added Vanguard associate general counsel and head of enterprise growth legal team Brian Murphy to the firm's investment management practice as a partner in Philadelphia, looking to leverage Murphy's industry and regulatory expertise on exchange-traded funds (ETFs).Murphy has worked at Vanguard for just over a decade, leading three different legal teams at the company under his tenure; prior to joining the investment management company, he served as counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange commission for ten years, allowing him to accumulate both industry and regulatory knowledge that he will use to help clients.
