American National Insurance was hit with a class action Thursday in California Central District Court. The lawsuit, filed by Nicholas & Tomasevic and Winters & Associates, accuses the company of failing to provide certain classes of policyholders proper notice of pending lapses or terminations. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:20-cv-11226, Steen et al v. American National Insurance Company.
