Andrew J. Furman and Matthew Kraus of the Chartwell Law Offices have stepped in as defense counsel to Mt. Hawley Insurance Co. in a pending insurance coverage lawsuit. The case, over a disputed property damage claim arising from Hurricane Ida, was filed Oct. 15 in New York Southern District Court by Alvendia, Kelly & Demarest on behalf of Starlight Studios. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Katherine Polk Failla, is 1:23-cv-09064, Starlight Studios, LLC v. Mt. Hawley Insurance Company.
