Southern Governors Proud to End Decades-Old Water Wars Legal...

After a decades-long dispute over water rights, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Alabama Governor Kay Ivey have reached a proposed agreement, but the duo now need the approval of the United States Army Corps of Engineers.In addition to putting an end to a lawsuit brought by Kay, the agreement reached by the southern state leaders addresses the need for sufficient minimum water flows for both state's citizens living in the Mid- and Lower Chattahoochee River Basin during times of drought.
