Craig R. Thorstenson and Douglass R. Nolan of FordHarrison have stepped in to represent Northwestern Memorial Hospital in a pending employment discrimination lawsuit. The suit was filed Dec. 24 in Illinois Northern District Court by Barrett & Farahany on behalf of a patient access specialist who contends that he was wrongfully terminated after seeking an accommodation to the defendant's COVID-19 vaccine mandate. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge John F. Kness, is 1:23-cv-17070, Sorensen v. Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
