The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filed a lawsuit Wednesday in New Jersey District Court arising from a proposed acquisition of Virtusa Corp. by Baring Private Equity Asia valued at approximately $2 billion. The complaint accuses Daniel Moscatiello, whose domestic partner was a Virtusa employee, of insider trading of Virtusa securities. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-04323, Securities And Exchange Commission v. Moscatiello.
