Mark B. Sheppard of Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg, Jennifer L. Beidel of Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr and William J. Hughes Jr. of Porzio, Bromberg & Newman have stepped in as defense counsel to Erik Cohen, David H. Punturieri and Nina M. Cammarata, respectively, in a pending securities lawsuit. The complaint, filed Nov. 3 in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court by the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, accuses the defendants of defrauding investors of $40 million and misappropriating funds for personal use. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Chad F. Kenney, is 2:21-cv-04845, Securities And Exchange Commission v. Cammarata et al.
