Berger Montague and Edelson Lechtzin filed an ERISA class action Monday in the District of Columbia District Court against the American National Red Cross. The suit contends that the Red Cross failed to control recordkeeping, administrative and other fees passed through to participants in the organization's 401(k) plan, resulting in hefty annual fees. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:21-cv-00620, Scaramuzzo v. American National Red Cross et al.
