Barnes & Thornburg partners Christina M. Baugh and John T.L. Koenig have entered appearances for rental home provider Firstkey Homes in a pending lawsuit for alleged breaches of the Family and Medical Leave Act. The suit was filed Feb. 29 in Florida Middle District Court by the Montone Law Firm on behalf of a leasing coordinator who contends that she was wrongfully terminated after the defendant failed to cover her job duties while she was out for emergency surgery. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Carlos E. Mendoza, is 6:24-cv-00437, Robles v. Firstkey Homes, LLC.
