New Suit - Consumer Class Action

Niantic, the maker of Pokemon Go, was hit with a class action Friday in California Northern District Court over its marketing of in-game items and currency. The complaint was brought by Bursor & Fisher on behalf of individuals under the age of 18 who purchased or spent the game's PokeCoins. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:21-cv-05883, Reeves v. Niantic, Inc.
