Timothy M. Threadgill of Butler Snow has entered an appearance for Pitts Farms Partnership in a pending lawsuit over alleged employment discrimination. The case was filed Sept. 9 in Mississippi Northern District Court by Texas Riogrande Legal Aid Inc., Robert B. McDuff and Mississippi Center For Justice on behalf of six Black American farmworkers alleging they have been systematically underpaid and denied job opportunities in favor of white foreign workers. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Debra M. Brown, is 4:21-cv-00113, Reed et al v. Pitts Farms Partnership.
