YouTuber Logan Paul's energy drink company Prime Hydration filed a lawsuit alleging defamation and trade libel against American professional boxer Ryan Garcia. The court action, filed by Greenberg Traurig on May 23 in Texas Northern District Court, contends that Garcia has used his social media platform to claim to his 20 million followers that Prime's products endanger children's health and minds and to accuse the company’s business team of engaging in outrageous acts. The complaint also accuses Garcia of intentionally making such statements to promote his own brand and business. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:24-cv-01260, Prime Hydration LLC v. Garcia.
