Gibbons filed an employment class action on May 8 in New Jersey District Court on behalf of former employees of Christmas Tree Shops LLC making claims under the WARN Act. The suit takes aim at Marc Salkovitz and Pamela Salkovitz for allegedly laying off workers without cause or three months' advanced notification. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:24-cv-05933, Vorel v. Salkovitz.
