Johnson & Johnson and Janssen Pharmaceuticals were sued on May 1 in New Jersey District Court over alleged employment discrimination under the ADA. The court action was filed by Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti on behalf of a former employee who contends that she was discriminated against on the basis of disability when she was denied accommodations before being terminated in retaliation for requesting accommodations. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:24-cv-05778, Ungarino v. Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
