New Suit - SEC Enforcement

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission sued Jack B. Blount, the former CEO of cybersecurity firm Intrusion Inc., on April 30 in Texas Eastern District Court over alleged violations of federal securities laws. According to the complaint, Intrusion, through the defendant, made materially false statements regarding Blount’s background and experience, the company’s success in marketing products and certain company contracts with prospective customers. Attorneys have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 4:24-cv-00375, Securities and Exchange Commission v. Blount.
