Actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi Quaid sued Fidelity National Title Insurance, the County of Santa Barbara and other defendants on April 26 in California Central District Court. The complaint accuses the defendants of unlawfully accessing the plaintiffs' mugshots, warrant statuses and jail inmate records for use in an underlying quiet title action. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:24-cv-03455, Quaid et al. v. Granet et al.
