Liberty Mutual Insurance Group was sued on April 24 in New York Eastern District Court for claims pursuant to a labor and material bond. The court action, filed by Wilson & Chan on behalf of Re-Steel Supply Co., seeks more than $260,000 for labor and materials provided by Re-Steel for a New York Department of Transportation construction project. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:24-cv-03055, Re-steel Supply Company, Inc. v. Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.
