New Suit - Contract

Core Scientific, a provider of infrastructure and software requirements for blockchain networks and digital asset mining, sued CES Corp. on April 22 in Texas Western District Court for alleged breach of contract. The court action, brought by Weil, Gotshal & Manges, accuses CES of failing to deliver a functioning modular data center in a timely manner; according to the suit, CES has also failed to return an erroneous payment of $1.5 million. The suit seeks to recover a total of $4.7 million in damages. Lawyers have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:24-cv-00427, Core Scientific, Inc. v. Ces Corporation.
