Holland & Hart filed an antitrust lawsuit on April 19 in Nevada District Court on behalf of Koin Mobile. The complaint, targeting Everi Holdings Inc. and Everi Payments Inc., contends that the defendants have created a monopoly in the markets for cash access at U.S.-based casinos. According to the complaint, the defendants have abused their power over cash access to stifle competition by creating exclusive dealings. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:24-cv-00178, Koin Mobile, LLC v. Everi Holdings Inc., f/k/a Global Cash Access Holdings, Inc.
