General Dynamics, a Virginia-based aerospace and defense company, and other defendants were hit with an environmental lawsuit on April 18 in Florida Middle District Court. The lawsuit, filed by the U.S. federal government under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, concerns the alleged release of hazardous substances from the General Dynamics Longwood Superfund Site in Seminole County. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 6:24-cv-00722, United States of America v. General Dynamics Corporation.
