Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman filed a tax lawsuit against the federal government on April 17 in New York Southern District Court. The complaint, filed on behalf of EmblemHealth Plan Inc., seeks a $6.7 million refund of an overpaid federal income tax. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant.
