Movie theater chain Cinemark was hit with a consumer class action on April 16 in Texas Eastern District Court. The suit, brought by Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr and Ellzey & Associates, alleges that the defendant's 24-ounce plastic drink containers can only hold 22 ounces of liquid. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 4:24-cv-00321, Waldrop v. Cinemark USA Inc.
