Kraft Heinz was named in a consumer class action on April 15 in New York Southern District Court over the alleged presence of heavy metals in its Lunchables products. The suit, filed by Denlea & Carton, contends that Kraft Heinz fails to disclose the presence of lead, cadmium and phthalates in Lunchables products. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 7:24-cv-02822, Laspisa v. Kraft Heinz Foods Company.
