Window Genie sued former employee Dragan Malesevic and MD-1 LLC on April 12 in Florida Middle District Court over alleged theft of trade secrets. The court case, filed by Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, accuses the defendants of misappropriating the plaintiff's confidential business information and of conspiring to violate non-compete and non-solicitation provisions in Malesevic's post-employment agreement. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:24-cv-00355, Window Genie Spv LLC d/b/a Window Genie as successor-in-interest for For Franchising, LLC v. Md-1, LLC.
