Proform Group was hit with an employment class action on April 10 in Oklahoma Eastern District Court. The lawsuit accuses the defendant of announcing that the manufacturing facility was closing immediately and failing to give 60 days of advance written notice to employees before being laid off, in violation of the WARN Act. The complaint was brought by Indian & Environmental Law Group; Stranch, Jennings & Garvey; Turke & Strauss and Cohen & Malad. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant.
