Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman filed a data breach class action on April 9 in California Central District Court against cancer research, treatment and prevention health provider City of Hope. The suit centers on a cyberattack that allegedly exposed the personally identifying and health data of approximately 827,000 City of Hope patients. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:24-cv-02860, Saurenmann v. City of Hope.
