Amundsen Davis filed a trade secret lawsuit on April 8 in Illinois Northern District Court on behalf of the Gordon Law Group, a law firm specializing in cryptocurrency taxation. The suit brings claims against Founder’s CPA and former Gordon Law employee Justin McCormick for allegedly misappropriating templates, client forms and other proprietary information, and allegedly sharing the information in YouTube videos. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:24-cv-02817, The Gordon Law Group, Ltd. v. Fpsg LLC.
