The Center for Biological Diversity, a nonprofit conservation organization, and Dr. Stuart Pimm filed a complaint for declaratory judgment and injunctive relief on April 8 in the District of Columbia District Court. The suit seeks to declare that a 2018 biological opinion that omitted findings of climate harm from offshore drilling in the Gulf of Mexico violates the Endangered Species Act and the Administrative Procedure Act.
