Morgan, Lewis & Bockius filed a patent infringement lawsuit on April 5 in New Jersey District Court on behalf of Alfasigma S.p.A., Bausch Health and Saliz Pharmaceuticals. The complaint, which asserts a family of patents related to a drug that treats irritable bowel syndrome and traveler's diarrhea, names Amneal Pharmaceuticals and other defendants. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:24-cv-04607, Salix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. v. Amneal Pharmaceuticals Of New York, LLC.
