Ray Quinney & Nebeker and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe filed a trade secret lawsuit on April 4 in Utah District Court on behalf of propane wholesaler Kiva Energy. The suit targets Brannon Morse, Kiva's former director of sales for the U.S. and Canada, and Flashpoint Energy Partners for allegedly misappropriating trade secrets in order to solicit customers. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:24-cv-00250, Kiva Energy v. Flashpoint Energy Partners.
