New Suit - Trademark

Goop, the lifestyle brand founded by actress Gwyneth Paltrow, was hit with a trademark infringement lawsuit on March 28 in Oregon District Court. The court action was filed by Cozen O'Connor on behalf of Good Clean Love Inc., a seller of sexual health and hygiene products. The complaint contends that Goop sold and is selling sexual health products using the mark 'Good. Clean. Goop.' The plaintiff argues that Goop threatens to overwhelm the 'Good Clean Love' trademark and undermine the plaintiff's two decades of investment in its goodwill and reputation. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 6:24-cv-00525, Good Clean Love, Inc. v. Goop, Inc.
