Fashion and luxury goods seller Hermès International was named in a consumer class action on March 19 in California Northern District Court. The court action, brought by Haffner Law and Setareh Law Group, accuses the defendant of tying the purchase of its Birkin bags to the purchase of other items. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:24-cv-01707, Cavalleri v. Herms International, a French corporation.
