The Avenue Agency and Telic Ops were slapped with a copyright infringement lawsuit on March 13 in Virginia Eastern District Court. The lawsuit was filed by Da Vinci’s Notebook on behalf of Animus Technologies, a software company that specializes in creating artificial intelligence-entities that can replicate sexually-suggestive human conversations. The suit accuses the defendant's of reproducing and distributing the Genesis software to the public by sale or other transfer of ownership without authorization or permission. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:24-cv-00161, Animus Technologies, LLC.
