PepsiCo's Quaker Oats Co. was slapped with a consumer class action on March 11 in Illinois Northern District Court. The complaint, filed by George Feldman McDonald and Lockridge Grindal Nauen, contends that the defendant's oat-based products contain toxic levels of the pesticide chlormequat. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:24-cv-02055, Tepper v. The Quaker Oats Company.
