Prevagen Inc. and Quincy Bioscience were sued for copyright infringement on March 7 in New York Southern District Court. The suit was brought by Doniger Burroughs PC on behalf of Raul Torres, a street artist professionally known as 'Hektad.' According to the complaint, the defendants displayed the plaintiff's copyrighted heart mural in a Prevagen commercial without permission. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants.
