Universal Music Group, Afroman Music and other defendants, who are all members of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP), filed a copyright infringement lawsuit on March 4 in Florida Middle District Court. The court case, brought by Bishop Page & Mills, seeks to enjoin and restrain the defendants from publicly performing the plaintiffs' copyrighted musical compositions. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 8:24-cv-00579, Morris Edwin H & Co., Inc. v. Treble Makers Of Wesley Chapel, Inc.
