General Mills was named in a product liability class action on Feb. 23 in California Southern District Court. The complaint, filed by Charles C. Weller APC, contends that the defendant's Cheerios products contain the chemical pesticide chlormequat chloride, which can reduce fertility if ingested. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:24-cv-00367, Necaise v. General Mills, Inc.
