New Suit - Privacy Class Action

Google and Home Depot were hit with a privacy class action on Feb. 14 in California Central District Court under the California Invasion of Privacy Act. The suit, brought by Kinsella Holley Iser Kump Steinsapir and the Simon Law Firm, contends that the phone conversations that consumers have with Home Depot customer service representatives are recorded and monitored by Google. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:24-cv-01253, Barulich v. The Home Depot, Inc.
