New Suit - Consumer Class Action

Amazon.com was named in a consumer class action on Feb. 9 in Washington Western District Court over a recent change in Amazon Prime Video pricing. The complaint, filed by Dovel & Luner and Carson & Noel, contends that Amazon violated consumer protection laws when it changed pricing for Prime Video services Dec. 2023 from being included with an Amazon Prime subscription to costing $2.99 per month. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:24-cv-00186, Napoleon v. Amazon.com, Inc.
