Nike sued Global Heartbreak and the company's founder Naadier Riles on Jan. 25 in New Jersey District Court over trademark infringement claims. The lawsuit, filed by Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer, accuses Riles of copying Nike's Air Jordan 1 High design and replacing the Nike logo with its own heart design logo. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:24-cv-00476, Nike, Inc. v. Global Heartbreak LLC.
