HealthEC was hit with a data breach class action on Jan. 4 in New Jersey District Court. The lawsuit, filed by Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman and Tycko & Zavareei, centers on a cyberattack that allegedly exposed the personally identifying and private health data of approximately 112,000 patients. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:24-cv-00036, Leeb v. Healthec, LLC.
