AutoZone was named in a data breach class action on Nov. 24 in California Central District Court. The suit, which accuses the defendant of failing to implement adequate data security measures, arises from an Aug. 2023 breach impacting the personal identifiable information of thousands of individuals. The suit was filed by the Srourian Law Firm. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:23-cv-09960, Aceves v. Autozone, Inc.
