MillerKnoll, the Michigan-based furniture company formerly known as Herman Miller, New York Life Insurance, and other defendants were slapped with an employment discrimination lawsuit on Nov. 21 in Connecticut District Court. The lawsuit was filed by Carey & Associates on behalf of a former employee who contends that he was subjected to a hostile work environment and disparate treatment based on race and national origin. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:23-cv-01534, Gimotea v. Millerknoll, Inc.
