Electric Boat Corp. was sued for disability-based employment discrimination on Oct. 23 in Connecticut District Court. The suit was filed by the Law Office of Peter Goselin on behalf of a former senior drafter who was allegedly fired after failing to comply with the company's post-COVID return-to-work policy. According to the complaint, the plaintiff suffers from multiple immunodeficiency issues including the lack of a spleen, yet the defendant refused to grant the plaintiff's request to continue working from home to avoid infection.
