Walmart was named in a slip-and-fall personal injury lawsuit on Oct. 18 in Georgia Northern District Court. The court action was brought by the Champion Firm on behalf of James Bulger, who contends he was injured when he slipped on water. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:23-cv-04774, Bulger v. Wal-mart Stores East, L.P.
