Stanley Black & Decker and its officers and directors were hit with a shareholder derivative lawsuit on Sept. 20 in Connecticut District Court. The suit, filed by Lachtman Cohen and Rigrodsky Law on behalf of Scott A. Applebaum, accuses the defendants of concealing a decline in revenue caused by rising inflation rates as well as a drop in home remodeling and DIY projects after the COVID-19 pandemic. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:23-cv-01234, Applebaum v. Allan et al.
