Pelco Inc., a security and surveillance technologies company, was hit with a patent infringement lawsuit on Sept. 5 in Delaware District Court. The court case, filed by Stamoulis & Weinblatt on behalf of smart home software provider Portus Singapore Pte Ltd. and its subsidiary Portus Pty Ltd., asserts two patents related to remote access and monitoring of a premises. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:23-cv-00976, Portus Singapore Pte Ltd. v. Pelco, Inc.
