Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman expanded its emerging companies and venture capital team in Texas by adding Perkins Coie partner Andy Smetana as a partner in Austin and Latham & Watkins associate Margarita Kelrikh as counsel in Houston and Austin. Smetana, who helped launch Perkins Coie's Austin office in 2022 and was managing partner of the office until recently, joined Pillsbury on Tuesday , while Kelrikh joined on Monday. Both are in the firm's emerging companies and venture capital practice.
