Mercedes-Benz USA and other defendants were slapped with a wrongful death lawsuit on May 12 in Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County. The court case was brought by Benn Law on behalf of Samantha Phat, Tommy Son and the estate of their infant daughter Nylah Son. The complaint contends that a defective airbag in a 2015 Mercedes-Benz C300 caused Nylah Son to sustain injuries and die. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants.
